Ruifang Station, 瑞芳火车站
It’s quite confuse to get to Jiu Fen, Shi Fen. Might get lost if you are first time here.
There are some information board that you can refer for your reference in case get lost in the area. 🙂 — See below on how to get there.
Jiu Fen, 九份
Jiufen is a very popular place for most of the tourist. “Spirited away” attraction and till now it’s stays the same. Food like 铜鍩烧 can be found here. Btw, is a Ice cream! Come with different flavours too (NTD$35/each)
While walking further, spot a shop sells Cat printed products. Like Tee Shirt, clothes, Bags, accessories and some small cats souvenirs. Might want to bring some adorable figuring home!
Cats wondering around the shops welcoming customers! Guess who is in charge of the shop? Is Cat captain, Le Le (乐乐) 🙂
We found a Totoro shop sells ocarina musical instruments. When I first heard the music I fall in love with it. I might learn it if I have the chance to. 😀
When you walk up the stairs to the top, can get to see the very nice view of Taiwan! Love the nice view up here, Taiwan is one of the best scenery view I first seen.
Shi Fen, 十份
We took a cab here, we met a taxi driver gave us a package from Jiu Fen to Shi Fen, then head to Cat Village and the Shi Fen Waterfall and back to Taipei Straight to our hotel. Cost us about NTD$1100. Slightly expensive.
You can let the driver know which are the places that you want to go and they can give the price slightly cheaper. If you want to skip certain places, can let them know too.
The chart shows different colours, different meaning. 1 colours and 4 colours.
Here we are to send wishes sky lanterns!
Have a short walk and feel the beautiful breeze at the 20 metre tall Shifen Waterfall (十分大瀑布). 20 minutes away, towards the train platform.
Depends on which place you want to go, some people might take the whole day to explore Jiufen. Shifen + Shifen Waterfall might take about half day (It’s depends). You can choose to go Jiufen first or Shifen, it’s up to you :). To us we went to Jiufen first, cause we took a bus from Ruifang to Jiufen.
Tips: Have to take the TRA from Taipei Main Station to Ruifang Station FIRST.
