Hello ! everyone and Happy Birthday from me to all the August Babies!
And me, my dad and my little niece!
Times flies! and here I go older 1 year again… I was so afraid of being old! but this is the stage where everyone will be going through! Well, we can’t avoid it anyway! So just stay happy and smile each day!
Sometimes it’s just hard to smile when there is nothing to smile :D! At least for now I live a happier life with my dad and family. I just wish those moment that we had will continue. Seeing my dad happy, I’m happy too!
I was wondering, our relationship of my family will it be better and better?
Pass few months, maybe yes! but now a bit of sadness that comes from my dad really makes me feels like.. upset too. But I keep tell myself that it will be better and not matter how hard it is, we are still one family.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US ALL !
One year older again! Life will be better ahead !
Here is another project which I done recently. I did a little small zip wallet/pouch. I use it as wallet and I quite like it. Especially the soft fabric, and nice to touch. Like those furry type of pouch. I did the same thing as the pencil case too.
Just align one long rectangular fabric and sew the sides and then the zipper. I use those normal type of zipper with just a normal type of zip head. There are quite a few types, some with rough zip line inside, those are use for bigger or bulky projects. I don’t have any special skills to choose which type of zip to use, but I choose according to what type of project I do. I did a small simple pouch so I just get a normal zip which matching colours that’s all.
This fabric I use is quite thick when you fold to 2 but my machine manage to make it for sewing them together. You just have to make sure your machine can handle most of the type of fabrics. Like mine machine, it can’t sew thicker fabrics like quilt fabric. So I will just stick to normal type of fabric which my machine can handle.
Sewing the zipper is really quite challenging. Especially when you don’t know which side to side to first and I get very annoyed when I don’t really know how to sew the zip and I went to watch some videos on how to sew it. Just have to do more practice. This small project really suits beginner who are still learning. Do as many practice as you can, Feel free to share with me, I will be glad to see your project too!
Sooner I will do some tutorial videos on my projects once I’m ready to show my work. >w< Hope this short post helps you! Do stay tune for more projects coming up!
This is the Cat Village located in Taipei, further up in Shi Fen. The easiest way is to grab a cab down here from Shi Fen or Jiu Fen.
Here is small mini shop, that sell all sort of Cats Souvenirs which are all so adorable.
They have a special thing to do here is to keep the memories there. This little bamboo thingy can write down your wishes for the Cat Village and keep a memories by hanging at the road side like how other people did it too!
The most cute thing I saw is the bridge. They actually use their own creativity to decorate the bridge with lots of cat images, hanging balls that looks like Poke Ball! But actually is Cat bell that you always get to see in the pet collar.
Along the bridge, they have food and treats for the cats. Is for the cats to rest and play around with. While walking along the bridge, we can see those cats hanging around. The feeling like Peaceful and I love the way they did for this animals. With a kind heart for the animals here.
Here is a little village, people of the cat owner stay in here I guess. They have a little shop here too.
When you come here, they will ask you if you want to buy a Stamp Book. This is the book that allows you to Stamp and keep it for memories! Cool uh! If you want to keep this wonderful memories, don’t forget to get a booklet for the Stamp on every station in the book! Not only here, all around Taipei! Find your spot! (I only manage to knew it from here, so I have missed a lot of station stamp.)
